Lou tells the guys they have a choice of going to Cancun, Mexico or NOT going. They all chose to go. Ashley brings Shelli and Dan decided to take his girlfriend Cindy.

On the plane Ashley and Shelli write notes back and forth agreeing to have "a talk" that weekend.

Later we see Shelli in her go-go boots and short skirt looking like someone straight from 1968. And we also get to meet Dan's girl Cindy. She seems like a nice, down-to-earth person. She's pretty and seems to love Dan very much.

Even later in the show the guys rehearsel a little. Ashley does two front flips (he lands on his butt on the first one but gets the second one. He also does a good back flip). While the guys are rehearsing Shelli and Cindy are hanging around Cancun and Shelli is telling Cindy how she's loved Ashley for years and how they're having problems, etc.

Even late still Ashley and Shelli are in a hotel room amd she tells him she blames him for not letting her see her goals of being a wife and mother and Ashley says "I'm so sorry, Shelli."

Anyway, let's just get to the break-up. Everyone's at the beach having a good time and Ashley and Shelli are hugging on the beach that's when he gently lets her down explaining they just "need some time apart" and he wants to "see what it's like" and that he "loves her enough to her go". SHelli responds with "I hate you".

Ok at first when I saw this I was moved... very sad for these two. But then I said..wait a minute. Something's not right. At a second look this stuff seems well... FAKE! I mean the whole scene looked like a bad Australian soap opera!

And the way it was filmed. The stillness of the whole thing. Like nothing was moving, like no one else was there except those Ashley and Shelli, nevermind that they were on a public beach with lots of people there!

The camera angels looked.. too well done. It's hard to explain. I just think the break-up was fake! Sorry to all the girls who was happy about the break-up. I think it was all stanged.

Later everyone had to go home and Cindy seemed to bbe rushed out. It was weird. One minute her and Dan are chillin' then Dan is on the phone asking if she has to take the cab alone or something. She starts crying because she has to leave Dan so suddenly but Jay agrees to take them so they can say goodbye more properly. It was a sad scene! I felt bad for Cindy.

The show ended with Ashley and Shelli on the phone crying over their break-up and Ashley strumming a guitar crying. Ummm.. MELO-DRAMATIC! It Was All for the cameras!
